Provide support on additional projects as necessaryĬonduct work in accordance with CRWA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Provide communications and outreach support, including event announcements and promotion sending newsletters website support responding to requests and inquiries from the public and maintaining contact lists Lead CRWA’s Annual Earth Day Cleanup event Plan volunteer appreciation events and initiativesĬoordinate invasive species removal events with corporate sponsors in local conservation areas Train volunteers for community science programs Manage current CRWA volunteers through clear, direct communication and recruit new volunteers as needed The Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator is also CRWA’s lead for the Annual Charles River Earth Day Cleanup event and supports CRWA’s communications and outreach initiatives. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Programs, the Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator manages CRWA’s hundreds of volunteers, engaging them in community science and public education about the Charles River watershed. The Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator is a critical member of CRWA’s science and outreach teams, supporting our volunteer programs that collect data about the health of the Charles River watershed and engaging with watershed residents to advance CRWA’s mission.
